Flat high-visibility players
Everyone renders as a clean solid colour: teammate blue, friend cyan, enemy red, friend-on-enemy orange. You read fights at a glance, even in dark maps. Purely visual and client-side, so it works on every server.
One shot. One kill. Nothing in the way.
SwiftGibs takes the classic open-source arena shooter and strips it to its fastest, most readable form: pure instagib, a flat high-visibility art style, a competitive config baked in, and quality-of-life features that make the game easier to read, never easier to cheat.
Joins the same public servers as stock Sauerbraten. Free and open source.

When a vote kicks off, SwiftGibs builds a live panel: map thumbnails, running tallies, and a vote button per map. No decoding wall-of-text chat spam, no typing numbers. A winner banner appears when the vote closes.
A beat-locked 3-2-1 reload countdown in seven styles, an independent fire-ready flash, and a tick-tick-tick-ding metronome so you can reload by ear. Every cue previews itself live over the menu as you pick it. All off by default; mix and match.
A name-based friends list that follows you around the game: highlighted names in the scoreboard, kill log and chat, cyan player models in the world, blips on the minimap, and a Friends settings tab to manage it all.
Press F8 mid-match and your bug report or idea lands on the public issue tracker, screenshot and telemetry included, no account needed. And when a new release is out, the main menu tells you; one click updates while keeping your settings, friends and stats.
Frags in every mode including CTF, deaths, KDR, captures, optional accuracy and damage. All toggleable.
Hold a thumb button for a much tighter zoom than right-click, for very distant targets.
Press M for a whole-stage overhead view with your position, teammates, friends and flags. Never enemies.
Convert your sens from CS, Quake, Apex, Overwatch, CoD or Valorant and apply it in one click.
Crosshair hit markers, selectable hit sounds with pitch, streak fx and milestone dings.
A stats page tracking frags, deaths, accuracy, damage and best streaks, plus a top-5 killstreak leaderboard.
Laser, Zap or Thump rifle fire and reload-charge soundscapes, with volume and pitch. Enemies always sound stock.
Scroll back through chat with the mouse wheel, or open the dedicated Chat History page.
An optional crisp pixelated-shadow look for the flat world. Community-discovered via in-game feedback.
Your crosshair tints blue over a teammate instead of the aim-blocking circle-slash icon.
All options live in the regular Esc menu as SwiftGibs, Timing Cues, Audio and Friends tabs, with live previews.
Auto-detects your monitor's native resolution and launches fullscreen on first run. No config needed.

is out. On Windows, run update-swiftgibs.bat in the game folder and it fetches the
latest version while keeping your settings, friends and stats. Your config lives in your user
directory, so reinstalling never wipes it.
